Description: The recovery plan for the Main Hawaiian Islands insular false killer whale will consist of three separate documents: (1) the Recovery Status Review, which will review the biology, ecology, and threats to the species and update the 2010 Status Review; (2) the Recovery Plan, which will include objective and measurable recovery criteria and a description of site-specific management actions necessary to conserve the species; and (3) the Recovery Implementation Strategy, which will include stepped-down recovery actions as well as estimates of time and costs required to achieve the plan's goals.
